Tuya-based lock — use the Tuya Smart app

Venix runs on the Tuya platform. We recommend the Tuya Smart app for Android and iPhone — look for this logo in the app store. The Smart Life app also works — it is the same platform. Set the unlocking direction and pair the lock before enrolling faces, palms or passcodes.

Step by step

Set up & use

Work through each task in order — check the parts, prepare the door, fit the bolt and panels, power up, set the direction, then pair the app and add your access methods. Tick the steps as you go; your progress is saved on this device.

Troubleshooting

Fix a problem

Most Venix problems are a 5 GHz network, a face or palm enrolled badly, a direction set after users were added, or a cable pinched during fitting — not a faulty lock. Keep the door open until everything is proven.
