Palm vein access
Use palm vein recognition as part of your everyday entry routine. Face and palm vein enrolments share 50 biometric sets in total.
3D face recognition
Choose face recognition for keyless entry. During enrolment, stand 30–120 cm from the panel; the optimal setup distance is 50 cm.
See and speak at your door
A 720p camera, two-way audio and video calling help you communicate with visitors. Human detection and lingering capture are supported.
Auto locking
Choose automatic relocking for your daily routine, or switch it off when you prefer.
Access for your household and visitors
Set up face and palm vein profiles for your household, use a permanent PIN for regular access, or create a temporary PIN for a visitor. Venix supports 50 biometric sets in total across face and palm vein, plus 50 passcodes shared between permanent and temporary PINs. PINs can be 6 to 10 digits long.
Manage access through the Tuya app, with support for up to 20 household member accounts. App remote unlocking and connected video functions require the device to be set up and online.
A clearer view of the doorstep
The built-in 1280 × 720 camera lets you see who is at the door, while two-way audio and video calling let you speak with visitors. Human detection and lingering capture are also supported.
Cloud video storage is supported through Tuya. Check the current Australian service availability, storage options and any subscription charges in the app.
Choose when your door relocks
Use automatic relocking for everyday convenience. You can also disable auto-lock when you prefer to control locking yourself.
Power for everyday use
Venix uses a built-in rechargeable 7,800 mAh lithium battery. The manufacturer estimates over five months of regular use or approximately 3,500 normal unlock operations per full charge. Actual battery life depends on usage, settings and conditions; frequent video-intercom use reduces battery life.
If the battery runs low, the bottom USB-C port provides emergency power, and a mechanical key offers another way to unlock.
Check the fit before you order
Venix is a smart deadbolt for compatible doors 35–55 mm thick, with a 60 or 70 mm backset. Check your existing door preparation, lock position and clearance before ordering.

The exterior panel has a manufacturer-stated IP65 rating, and the specified operating temperature is −20°C to +60°C.

How many faces and palms can I add?
Venix stores 50 biometric sets in total. Face and palm vein enrolments share this capacity; it is not 50 of each.
Can I give visitors a code?
Yes. Custom temporary PINs are supported, alongside permanent PINs. Both types share a total capacity of 50 passcodes, with a length of 6–10 digits.
Does Venix lock automatically?
Yes. Auto locking can be enabled or disabled to suit your routine.
Which app does it use?
Venix uses the Tuya app. It does not use the Blusafe app. Connected features require setup and an online device.
Does it support fingerprint, RFID or NFC access?
No. The supported methods are face, palm vein, permanent PIN, temporary PIN, Tuya app remote unlock and mechanical key.
Will it work with Apple HomeKit or Matter?
No. Matter and Apple HomeKit are not supported.
Can I use Alexa or Google Assistant?
Tuya voice-assistant integration has been reported by the manufacturer, but Australian operation has not yet been verified. Contact us before ordering if voice control is essential for your setup.
Is cloud recording included?
Cloud video storage is supported. Available plans, retention periods and charges depend on the current Tuya service for your region; check the app for the current Australian offer.
What happens if the battery runs out?
The bottom USB-C port supports emergency power, and the mechanical key provides a backup unlocking method.
Are the Australian specifications different?
The manufacturer has confirmed that the UK, US and Australian versions have identical product specifications.
Will it fit my door?
